Magic

We were asked to help Magic by a lady who thought it was a good idea to adopt a feral kitten from a farm. She got him home and put him in her bathroom to calm down; Magic was terrified and found a hole in the floorboards, which he went down. He stayed there for over two weeks, only coming out for the food at night which the lady put down for him. 

After a few weeks, finally realising that the situation would not change, the lady reached out and asked us for help.  He was contained and brought to us. He was in poor condition, and had no hair on his tail, from where he was climbing under the floorspace. He was very thin and absolutely petrified.

We had kittens in at the time, so we put Magic in with them. The kittens helped him regain his confidence as did taking things at Magic’s pace. He is an absolutely lovely cat, who is transformed; he loves cuddles and gets on well with all of the other animals at the sanctuary. Magic has a beautiful coat which changes colour with the seasons – in the summer he is jet black, but in the winter, he changes to smokey grey and has an amazing mane.
