Stan, Olive and Merlin

Stanley (black and white) Olive and Merlin (both black, and siblings) were strays; they were trapped and taken to a rescue, but unfortunately Stanley dug his way out, resulting in all three of the cats escaping. Olive was found first, then Merlin and finally Stanley, who was found at Stanstead airport – hence his name. We were asked to take Merlin and Stanley and Olive went to another rescue. Merlin was obviously very timid, but he soon came round.

We were then contacted by the rescue that had Stanley and Olive – they couldn’t get near them and were unsure how to proceed. We said that we would have Stanley and Olive, so that the three cats could be reunited – they should never have been separated in the first place. Since they have arrived here, and been back together with Merlin, all three have settled down; Stanley and Merlin love cuddles, but Olive remains a little wary; she is devoted to Stanley, and they are a bonded couple.
